Why do I need a Web Site?
Ha! What a great question. And we are not going to fill you full of a bull answer either. The Internet is an incredible
tool for business. It allows you to expand your reaches to thousands and thousands of people. That is if you do not misuse
it. With the proper design and promotion your site could make you money while you sleep, but do not expect it to if your 14 year
old nephew sets up your web site. You need professional design and consultation.
Here are 4 ways the web can work for you:
Branch office - Easily add "office space" online by setting up a Web Site that fully communicates with your customers.
New frontiers - Your store on West Side Street only caters to customers in Your Town, USA. But on the web your store
reaches out to Their Town, China!
Window shoppers - If you do not want to send your product to Their Town, China, at least let them look at your products.
Data mining - In your store you cannot survey everyone, can you? Online it's practically automatic. With demographic
data you can adjust to your customers needs, and make many more sales.
How much do you charge per Web Site?
A hard question to answer since every site is different. But Lynergy.com provides it's services at rates FAR below our competitors
prices. So of course it all depends, but our sites generally range from $500 to $2,000.
What will it cost to maintain my Web Site?
We generally setup maintenance contracts. If your site needs dynamic content it is obviously going to cost more, but again, it all
depends on how much needs to be changed each month. In general it ranges from $50 per month to $300 per month.
I already have a Web Site. Can you make it better?
Yes! We'll be glad to turn your run-down site into a dynamic beauty.
What is the payment schedule?
We expect half of front to cover startup costs and half once the site is complete.
What's involved in Ecommerce?
Many things are involved in Ecommerce. Including deciding
how to accept payments. Installing a Shopping Cart system. Insuring
that a web site is easy to buy from and trustworthy. And many
other things that go along with running a sales business in
general.
How long does it usually take?
For smaller sites it generally takes about two weeks. But for bigger sites there is much more planning and testing involved. Expect
two or more months for larger sites.
Who owns the copyright on the site once it is complete?
The client takes ownership of the copyrights once the site is complete, but as the developer we ask for specific right to put our link
on the site.
What information do you need to get started?
We like to sit down and talk about what you specifically need. We have a small questionnaire to get started. It basically
entails what you would like the site to look like, and how you want it organized.
What happens if I want to cancel a design job?
Once the job has been started and has made it to the half way point we will keep the half up front. Other than that, we will turn
over any information given, and sign a cancellation agreement.
What software do you use to develop a Web Site?
Notepad. :-) And sometimes Macromedia Dreamweaver.
How will I receive my web site once it is completed?
You will receive your site on a CD. It will also be posted to the Internet on the host of your choice. You will also receive
a booklet on how to use your site, how to contact us, and more. We do not hand you the site and say, "bye." There are many post
design issues that we take care of, such as testing and promotion.
Where can I find other sites you've done?
Check out our front page for information about the work that we've done.
